State police and EMS were called to the scene of a one vehicle crash on September 18, 2016.
This accident occurred on Punxy Road in Redbank Twp., Armstrong County at 10:00 a.m. The driver, Jerry L. Bish of Punxsutawney, PA lost control of his Ford Ranger while negotiating a right curve on the wet roadway and slid into an embankment. The vehicle then rolled over, ejected the passenger who was not wearing a seat belt and sheared off a telephone pole before coming to rest against a tree.
Bish was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the wreck. The passenger was air lifted to UPMC Presbyterian with serious injuries.
