Forms are now available for Pennsylvania’s 2016 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.
According to local State Representative Tedd Nesbit, eligible participants can receive a rebate of up to $650 based on rent or property taxes paid in 2016. Most of those eligible are 65 or older, widows or widowers 50 and over, or those 18 and older with permanent disabilities.
Representative Nesbit’s office in Grove City can provide the forms and help people file them at no cost. Applications are due by June 30th.
Applicants who submitted forms for the 2015 program year should have already received booklets in the mail. For more information about this program, visit RepNesbit.com.
