Parker Area Authority water customers are under a boil water advisory.
According to the authority, during a routine inspection, the Department of Environmental Protection found that the authority’s filters don’t have enough filter media in them to properly treat the water.
Customers are advised to boil their water until notified by the authority.
The authority says the boil water advisory is a precautionary measure.
