The Parenting Support Group for families will continue next week.
Robert Muntz, Counselor and Supervisor with the BHS Regional Recovery Program, told our newsroom that this support group is for those who have loved ones who are dealing, or who have dealt with, some type of addiction. He says it is a nice avenue for people to get support and know they are not alone.
The meetings are held each Tuesday and are a part of the Regional Recovery Center, which has many services for families. They have a family intervention program, in-hospital detox programs, outpatient relapse programs, intensive outpatient services and peer support groups.
The Regional Recovery Program has been operational since 1983. The phone number to the program is (724) 284-4016.
