Two Butler County Community College students are receiving free tuition to state schools for the rest of their college careers.
Current student Keily Tinoco of Cranberry and former student Ian Moore of Butler both won full-tuition scholarships via Phi Theta Kappa.
The organization is an international academic honor society for two-year colleges. Both Tinoco and Moore served in leadership positions for Phi Theta Kappa at BC3.
They were also named to the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team and now will receive a full scholarship at their new institution.
Tinoco will enroll at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and major in interior design. Moore, meanwhile, just began his career at Slippery Rock University and is pursuing a bachelor in finance and healthcare administration.
