Another increase in Pennsylvania Turnpike tolls will take effect in January.
Tolls will go up 6 percent for both cash and E-ZPass customers and that increase will take effect on Sunday, Jan. 8. That means tolls for passenger vehicles will increase from $1.80 to $1.95 for cash and from $1.16 to $1.23 for E-ZPass customers.
Due to lower toll increases for E-ZPass motorists in previous years, they will continue to enjoy a discount of 25 to 35 percent.
