The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame has announced it will induct the late Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno and former Pitt head coach Foge Fazio as part of its 2015 class this fall. 10 living inductees are a part of the class, including former Penn State quarterback Chuck Fusina and kicker Matt Bahr. Former Pitt standout Eric Crabtree, along with collegiate and NBA coach P.J. Carlesimo are also being inducted. The event will be held in October in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Paterno recently had wins restored that were taken away following the Jerry Sandusky scandal. He holds the Division I record with 409 victories with the Nittany Lions.
