Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s Administration is hoping to continue to build on its efforts in two key areas as it begins a second term.
Budget Secretary Randy Albright says investing in education remains one of Gov. Wolf’s top priories.
“Education progress…continuing the steps we were able to make in the governor’s first term,” Albright said. “Maybe even growing the amount of assistance we’re able to provide to local school districts.”
He also says improving the state’s business climate will continue to be a focus.
“He’ll look to creating a fair, more competitive business tax climate, given the governor’s experience in the private sector before he took the office of governor,” he said.
Albright says the administration will also continue to take steps to reduce or restrain state spending.
