Pennsylvania American Water is asking for public’s feedback in a statewide survey.
The group is trying to identify what materials make up water service lines across the state.
The goal is so Pennsylvania American Water can remove lead and galvanized water lines from service.
Starting this week, homeowners could see a postcard arrive that will have information on how to identify what your water service line is made of.
Results can then be submitted online or by phone.
They say this project is a massive undertaking and is hoping for customers to help them in answering the survey.
