Members of the Butler Area Sewer Authority will meet today as the sale to a private entity looms.
According to the meeting’s agenda, board members are set to consider a confidentiality agreement between the authority and Pennsylvania American Water that would possibly see the two sides exchange potential numbers on a sale.
Meanwhile, a representative from Aqua America will be on-hand at their meeting to express their interest in acquiring the sewer authority.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the sewer authority on Litman Road.
