High School Sports:
The PIAA 6A quarterfinal matchup between the Pine-Richland and North Allegheny baseball teams will be played at Slippery Rock University Thursday. First pitch will be 6:30pm.
The 4A game between Beaver and New Castle will be played at Historic Pullman Park in Butler at 4pm.
There will also be the 1A quarterfinal game between California and West Middlesex at 1:30pm at the ballpark.
The North Allegheny Boys Volleyball team reached the 3A state championship game with a 3-1 win over Bethel Park last night in teh PIAA semifinals. N.A. will meet Central York at Penn State University Saturday at 1:30pm.
