During the first quarter of this year, nearly four tons of waste was collected- including nearly 5,000 pounds of TVs and nearly 600 pounds of other electronics, according to data released by the township.
About 1,000 pounds of paint was also collected during the same time period. Other items include computers and printers. Pharmaceuticals cannot be recycled.
Butler Township residents with questions about the process of disposing of items like these should contact Waste Management or the Township for more information.
