The outgoing president of Slippery Rock University will be the featured speaker at an event in Pittsburgh next week.
Dr. Cheryl Norton will speak Wednesday, March 1 from noon to 1:45 p.m. at the Omni William Penn Hotel as part of the Pittsburgh Social Exchange’s Executive Speaker and Luncheon Series.
Norton was named the first female president in SRU’s 127-year history in 2012. Last year she announced her intentions to retire this summer.
