Municipalities and heritage related organizations in our area are invited to apply for a local grant program.
The Rivers of Steel Mini-grant program will award matching grant funding between $2,500 and $20,000 to proposals chosen from Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, or Westmoreland counties.
This program is designed to develop new and innovative programs in order to increase heritage tourism, enhance preservation, develop partnerships, preserve natural resources, and encourage outdoor recreation.
The deadline to file applications is November 18th and the awards will be announced in January of 2017. Visit riversofsteel.com/about/grants for more information.
