State police are releasing data after a weekend of cracking down on DUI offenses across Pennsylvania.
The annual enforcement is known as Operation Nighthawk and it has been happening for 20 years now.
State police say they made a total of 492 DUI arrests, 279 arrests for other violations, and issued over 2,200 citations.
DUI convictions begin with a $300 fine plus court costs and can increase to $10,000 for repeat offenders.
