The state game commission says Pennsylvania’s coming firearms deer season looks as promising as ever.
Hundreds of thousands of hunters are expected to take to the woods a week from today- on the Monday after Thanksgiving- which is Nov. 26th this year.
Officials say about 45 percent of the season’s buck harvest is usually taken on opening day.
The statewide general firearms season runs through Dec. 8.
