One person was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital following a crash this morning on Route 8 South.
The two vehicle accident happened in the southbound lane just before 9 a.m. near Thorncrest Drive in Penn Twp.—which is about a half mile south of McCalmont Road.
It’s not known what caused the two vehicles to crash, but one of the cars was on its side when crews arrived.
Traffic was delayed for a bit while crews cleared the scene.
The exact injuries of the victim are not known at this point.
