At least one person was seriously injured as a result of an accident Wednesday evening in Karns City.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 6:30 p.m. for a crash on Kittanning Pike.
Crews from Petrolia were among those responding to the scene.
A helicopter was requested to land at the Karns City High School football field to transport at least one motorist for treatment of unknown injuries.
