One person died in a house fire over the weekend in Connoquenessing Township.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Reiber Road near the intersection with Kriess Road.
Crews from Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Department were the first to respond to the house, where they found the victim and brought him to EMS crews. However, that man did not survive.
Crews say they knocked down the flames within 10 minutes.
The damage was described as fairly significant.
Firefighters remained at the home for more than four hours.
