One more person has died in Butler County from coronavirus symptoms, according the state’s Department of Health.
This was the fifth death in Butler County due to COVID-19.
However, the latest update from the state also showed no new cases reported—keeping Butler’s total confirmed number of cases at 143.
The state meanwhile has now surpassed 25,000 confirmed cases—with over 1,100 new cases reported today. 25,345.
There’s also been a decline in hospitalizations at Butler Memorial Hospital. Officials say they are 10 patients for coronavirus symptoms, with two people in the ICU.
So far there have been 584 deaths in the state, but there has also been over 108,000 negative tests.
