A Lawrence County man died as a result of a crash Friday morning in Mercer County.
According to State Police, 79-year-old James Seybert of Volant was turning from Fairground Road onto Route 19 just before noon Friday when he stopped in the opposing lane of traffic for an unknown reason.
Seybert was hit by a commercial garbage truck operated by a 54-year-old man from Fredonia.
Seybert was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash is still under investigation.
