At least one person was injured in a crash this afternoon on Route 8 South.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. at the bottom of McBride Hill in the southbound lane.
Witnesses say that two vehicles collided with significant damage to one car, including air bags that deployed.
The accident happened near a temporary construction zone, although it’s unclear if that played any role in the crash.
EMS crews were called to evaluate one man who suffered neck and back pain.
