At least one motorist is recovering following an accident in Slippery Rock Township last week.
According to State Police, a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Daniel Christiana of Slippery Rock was traveling McCandless Road shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday when his steering system failed.
Christiana’s vehicle drove off the road and hit a tree. Christiana was transported to his residence by Slippery Rock Ambulance.
A passenger in the vehicle was evaluated by paramedics but refused transport to the hospital.
