A Florida man was injured after his car was hit by another motorist late Saturday afternoon in Muddy Creek Township.
The State Police in Butler say that around 5pm yesterday, the Florida man was stopped at a stop sign on the I-79 off ramp, and was attempting to merge onto Route 422.
Authorities say that while the victim was attempting to merge onto 422, a 74-year-old Florida woman already traveling on 422 failed to yield, and crashed into the victim’s car.
The Florida man was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital with unknown injuries. The other driver will be cited.
