A motorist was injured after her vehicle became partially submerged in a Concord Township pond last week.
According to the State Police in Butler, an 18-year-old woman from Valencia was traveling on Oneida Valley Road (Route 38) near Ball Lane just before 5am on Thursday when she lost control of her car.
Authorities say that the vehicle struck a tree before coming to a final rest in the pond.
The Valencia woman suffered minor injuries, and her 21-year-old passenger refused medical treatment. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
No other vehicles were involved in Thursday’s crash.
