A Tennessee jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of Caitlyn Kaufman.
According to our news partners at WPXI TV, Devaunte Hill has been found guilty of second degree murder while James Cowan has been found not guilty.
Kaufman was shot and killed on a Nashville highway in December 2020 as she was on her way to work as an ICU nurse in a Nashville hospital.
Hill admitted to shooting at Kaufman’s vehicle six times after she allegedly cut off a vehicle Cowan was driving. Hill will be sentenced March 3rd.
