One person suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash Tuesday morning in Middlesex Township.
A call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 8:30 a.m. for a convertible car over an embankment in the 200 block of Route 228 East (or Glade Mill Road).
However, the caller noted that the guiderail was damaged around 6:30 a.m. and suspected that the vehicle had been in the ditch for a couple of hours.
Crews on the scene say the man was unresponsive when they arrived. A medical helicopter was called and took the man to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
A portion of Route 228 East was closed at Sandy Hill Road.
