Ohio voters will decide whether their state should be the next to legalize marijuana when they head to the polls today.
The proposed constitutional amendment that’s before voters would let adults 21 and older purchase marijuana and grow up to four plants at home.
If passed, the marijuana industry would be limited. The number of potential retail stores would be tied to the state’s population, not to exceed a ratio of 1 per 10,000 residents.
That would be roughly 1,100 retailers that would be legally able to sell pot and pot-infused products to residents.
