Officials will gather Monday to try to get some answers on the new VA Butler Healthcare facility under construction in Center Township.
Questions have surrounded the center for years after a site in Butler Township was selected and prepared to build on, but then plans fell through. Cambridge Healthcare Solutions is now building the new facility on Duffy Road in Center Township on a former farm. It’s slated to open in December 2017.
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly of Butler will host the 5:30 p.m. meeting at the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora. New VA Butler Healthcare System Director David Cord is expected to speak.
