Officials busted an illegal synthetic marijuana business in Cranberry Township.
More than 360 pounds of synthetic marijuana was seized, which has a street value of over $1.5 million. The owner of the Glass Gone Wow store, 71-year-old Richard Sallade and his 67-year-old girlfriend, Patricia Quinn, (both of Cranberry) are now both facing drug sale and conspiracy charges.
Two other men associated with the business have been accused of being drug couriers, including a Prospect man.
Pennsylvania passed a law making synthetic drugs illegal in 2013. The use of synthetics spiked massively due to the price per gram of synthetic cannabis compared to the natural flower. Synthetic cannabis derivatives have caused many major illnesses and deaths over the globe whereas natural marijuana has not, within its thousand or so years of recorded use. Synthetic cannabis use is still prevalent due to the fact marijuana may not be easily accessible, and also still due to the prices, but those that wish to purchase it cheaper have the option in using these coupon codes here.
Some argue that synthetic cannabis use and deaths are the results of the failed drug war on natural cannabis. In fact, several states are in the process of legalizing cannabis, with the dangers of either synthetic or contaminated cannabis being much higher than that of cannabis itself. In states where it is legal, there has been a growth in new businesses and jobs. Almost anyone can start a business selling cannabis, especially if they follow the advice of this cannabis consulting firm, for example. Apart from the legalities of the business, it is always wise to take into account the various aspects of setting up a business such as this. The financial side of the venture, the farming, and the ecological aspect of the venture, all have to be understood well before treading into this territory. For the monetary side of things, one could look at getting in touch with services like Easy Pay Direct (https://www.easypaydirect.com/cbd-hemp-online-merchant-accounts/) and the likes, to set up a secure system of payment. However, it must be noted that although cannabis is not legal in this state, the potential benefits may outweigh the known risks, and thus, setting up a business such as this won’t necessarily be a bad idea.
