Residents in Cranberry Township may notice an unpleasant smell in the air over the next month.
According to the township’s website, a scrubber at the Brush Creek Treatment Plant designed to reduce odor is not functioning.
A rebuilt unit is anticipated to be in place by sometime in October.
The Brush Creek Treatment Plant is located on Powell Road and serves portions of Pine, Marshall, and New Sewickley Townships, as well as Cranberry.
