A power outage in northern Butler County will not affect tonight’s festivities at the North Washington Rodeo.
According to West Penn Power, nearly 200 residents in Washington Township are without service and it may not be restored until 11 p.m.
Despite the outages, the North Washington Rodeo is scheduled to go on as planned at the rodeo arena on Oneida Valley Road. Officials say generators will be used to keep things up and running. Gates are set to open at 6 p.m. with the rodeo beginning at 8 p.m.
No word on the cause of the outage.
