Girls Volleyball:
–The North Catholic Girls held off Philipsburg-Osceola 3-2 to reach the 2A championship. The Trojanettes dropped the first two sets 25-19 and 31-29 before rebounding with three straight wins by scores of 25-13, 25-23 and 15-12. They will meet defending state champion Camp Hill Trinity Saturday in the state title game beginning at 1pm.
–Hampton defeated Freeport 3-1 in the 3A Semifinals.
–North Allegheny has reached the 4A championship after a 3-1 win over Shaler. The four-time defending state champion Tigers will face Parkland Saturday at 6pm.
The state championship games will all be played at Cumberland Valley high school.
