Pennsylvania lawmakers say they will continue to work past the deadline in order to finalize a state budget.
The Republican-led legislature and Democratic Governor Tom Wolf could not come to an agreement by last night’s deadline.
However, officials say they believe they are making progress.
One state senator said it wasn’t crucial to finalize a budget by the deadline, but it was necessary to come to a resolution soon.
