No motorists were seriously injured in a three car crash that occurred last weekend on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a Virginia man was traveling south on the roadway last Saturday (July 11th) morning when he lost control of his car while in the passing lane.
Authorities say that the man’s vehicle then struck a guiderail before striking a second vehicle. The impact from the collision forced the second car off the roadway before sliding sideways over an embankment and overturning several times. Following the collision, a Mack Truck was also struck.
Police say that the Virginia man suffered minor injuries.
