No one was injured in a major house fire in Winfield Township yesterday afternoon.
Crews responded to a call for flames coming from a two-story wood frame home on Clearfield Road around 3 p.m.
Firefighters spent more than two hours fighting the flames at the house.
All four people inside the home got out safely with no injuries.
The damage to the home is considered to be extensive. There’s no word on what caused the fire, but it’s believed to have started in the kitchen.
