Butler County’s Conservation District will be remaining in the same location for the next 20 years.
The group entered into a long-term lease agreement with the Bantam Commons earlier this week.
A total of $200,000 will be paid upfront for the lease. County commissioners say that money was put aside by a previous administration in case the Conservation District wanted to build their own facility.
However, the group says their current location is working well and there’s no need to move.
