An accident involving a tri-axle truck shut down a portion of I-79 for hours Wednesday.
The two-vehicle accident happened just before 9 a.m. in the northbound lane, not far from the Little Creek Road exit.
Police have not released details on how the crash happened, but the tri-axle dump truck rolled onto its side and blocked both lanes of traffic.
Crews shut down I-79 from the Zelienople exit to the Portersville exit.
No one was injured in the crash, but crews remained on scene for more than three hours to help with cleanup.
