No injuries were reported after a vehicle struck a utility pole earlier this weekend in Slippery Rock Township.
According to State Police, a 37-year-old Slippery Rock man was traveling on Ralston Road just after 1am on Saturday when he lost control of his car.
Authorities say that the vehicle then struck a utility pole on the southern side of the roadway.
During their investigation, police say that they determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The motorist was later taken into custody.
No other vehicles were involved in Saturday’s crash.
