Two women escaped injury after a deer that was hit by a vehicle ended up on the hood of a second car.
The incident happened Monday evening (8:30 p.m.) on Route 422 westbound in Butler Township.
Police say 59-year-old Nancy Hunt of Pittsburgh struck a deer with her Subaru Impreza near the Duffy Road overpass.
The deer was catapulted into the air and landed on the hood of a Chevy Cruze, driven by 26-year-old Jocelyn Dombeck of Ellwood City.
Hunt’s vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.
