NexTier Bank has announced a new addition to their executive management team.
Todd Simko is NexTier’s new chief risk officer. Simko will oversee risk management and compliance for NexTier Inc.
Simko takes over for Mark Schoen, who is transitioning into the role of chief knowledge officer. Among Schoen’s new responsibilities will be investment management and monitoring.
These management changes are necessary due to new rules NexTier must follow since they have more than $1 billion in assets. NexTier Bank has 26 community offices throughout Allegheny, Butler and Armstrong counties.
