A local bank has made a donation to an area school district.
NexTier Bank has contributed $17,500 to the Seneca Valley Foundation through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program.
This donation will benefit several classes at Seneca Valley including Honors Women in Engineering, Honors Engineering Applications, and Accounting 1 and 2.
The EITC program allows businesses to make donations to organizations that support education on an approved list and then apply credits against their tax liability.
