A local organization is looking for volunteers to help with a community effort this weekend.
Participants with Butler County Community College’s Hope is Dope program are planning a work day at the Butler City skate park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants will be replacing hand rails on ramps, attaching barriers to decking, and painting ramps green and blue.
Also joining in this effort at Father Marinaro Park is the South Side Park Group and the Butler Hip Hop and Rap Community organization.
