No one was injured in a New Year’s Day crash in East Deer Township.
The Kittanning State Police say that just before 2am on Friday, a 35-year-old Ford Cliff man was northbound on Route 28 when he fell asleep at the wheel.
Authorities say that the driver then hit the wire guiderails in the median, before his car spun around, coming to a final rest facing southbound.
Upon arrival, officials arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.
