Butler Township has awarded a local company a large contract to handle upgrading of traffic signals.
Earlier this week commissioners approved an agreement with Bronder Technical Services to perform the work at a cost of just over $363,000.
Bronder submitted the lowest of three bids received for the project which is expected to begin in April.
Bronder is the same company who recently completed new street lights in downtown Butler.
