South Butler County School District’s interim superintendent is ready to hand over the reins to his replacement.
Dr. Frank Prazenica’s last day with the district will be on Friday and Dr. David Foley will take over the top administrator position beginning Monday, January 15.
At his final school board meeting Wednesday night, Dr. Prazenica thanked all the people who have worked with him to help educate the children of the district. He also said that it was an honor to serve the district. South Butler School Board President Matthew Cimbala voiced appreciation for Prazenica’s spirit of teaching.
Prazenica returned to the district last August after previous superintendent Dr. David Zupsic resigned to accept another position.
