The new co-ed softball league begins fall play Saturday at the Father Marinaro Park field. Six games will be played Saturday beginning at 10am. 16 teams will be participating in play through mid-October.
Play in the Butler area ceased several years ago with the demise of Franklin Field, not far from Father Marinaro.
