A new poll out yesterday shows a widening gap in the Democratic race for Senate, but a close matchup in the Republican primary.
Franklin and Marshall released new polling data showing that Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman with a nearly 40 point lead over Congressman Conor Lamb. This is a 12 point jump in polling for Fetterman since the last poll was released.
Meanwhile, the race is tight in the GOP primary. Dr. Mehmet Oz currently has a slight edge over Dave McCormick coming in with 18 percent of support compared to 16 percent. Conservative commentator Kathy Barnette though has soared up in polls in recent weeks, now registering as the third leading candidate at 12 percent.
We’re now just a little over a week-and-a-half away from the primary election on May 17th.
