One of New Mexico’s most wanted fugitives was arrested in Butler County.
Lance Alcorn, 22, was taken into custody by state police Wednesday in Washington Township after he allegedly attacked his father with a knife.
Following his arrest here, police learned Alcorn has been wanted by New Mexico authorities for over a year for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Alcorn had been placed on what New Mexico calls its “Most Wanted Absconder” list. He remains in the Butler County Prison and will eventually be extradited back to New Mexico.
