Cranberry Township is considering plans for a new housing development on Freedom Road.
The proposed “Breckenridge” development would have 112 townhouse units on an 18-acre space. Officials say there is currently five separate lots in that area along with some existing homes that would be razed.
However, the development would exceed the township’s open space requirements. There’s also concerns about the density and impervious surface requirements.
A public hearing was held last week, and the board of supervisors could vote on approval at their March 3rd meeting.
